You haven?t really experienced a take-away, until you?ve made your own chopsticks, and they also make a very tasty gift.
WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT??
You could whittle a spoon, but if you want a bit of one-upmanship (and really who doesn?t) the way forward is to carve your own chopsticks. This is an evening woodworking course (and you thought they were just two sticks). Starting with tea and cake you will be introduced to basic woodworking skills, and the correct use and maintenance of hand tools. Then you will be selecting the wood before you start carving. At the end of the evening, you will take home your own unique chopsticks – with contrasting wood inlay, and stand.
