Umberslade Farm Park

The Umberslade Estate has been a family business since the late 1800s when it was acquired by George Frederick Muntz, a Birmingham industrialist who bought and restored Umberslade Hall. He was succeeded by his son, Frederick Ernest who founded the Umberslade Shire Horse Stud and you will still see magnificent Shire horses at the Children?s Farm Park today. In the 1960s the Hall was sold and converted into private apartments but still retains many great architectural features.

The Umberslade Estate encompasses arable, beef and sheep production and epitomises the key role that modern farming has to play in our national food production. Looking to the future, the current generation of the Muntz family is taking the Estate forward, maintaining and indeed building on its agricultural heritage but also broadening its horizons to offer a range of business and leisure opportunities based around the infrastructure of the Estate.

In 2009, Oliver Muntz took over the operation of Umberslade Farm Park, in Warwickshire. Oliver is passionate about Umberslade and is continuing with the ongoing diversification and expansion. He is looking forward to giving a warm welcome to both current and new customers to the Farm Park this year.
