The Llama Park is situated on the A22 just south of the Wych Cross traffic lights and is set in 33 acres of beautiful land The Park is adjacent to the Ashdown Forest which is in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. The Park is home to an ever-growing variety of animals which today includes llamas, alpacas, reindeer, horses, donkeys, Jacob sheep, Kune Kune pigs, Peafowl and poultry, with more animals on the way. The Llama Park is justly proud of its Tea Room and Coffee Shop where we serve a delicious assortment of cakes, freshly made sandwiches and hot and cold food. The Park’s ‘Sussex Cream Teas’ are legendary with delicious fruit and cheese scones made every day from our closely guarded recipe. The fully licensed restaurant serves a variety of food to cater to all tastes, from home-made soups and pastas, to baked potatoes with a variety of fillings, chips and children’s portions of good wholesome food. We also offer daily specials, spit-roasted chickens and roast lunches on Saturdays and Sundays. Our Chef promises even more delicious additions to the menu as his creativity is given full rein. The Llama Park has a very high quality fashion and gift shop specialising in alpaca knitwear, pima cotton and, in the future, hand-made Indian cottons and beaded jewellery. It also has a wide range of toys, gifts and accessories for both young and old. The Park’s 33 acres are yours to explore and you can do this on your own or take a guided walk in the grounds with a llama or donkey by taking one of our famous Llama or, new to The Park, Donkey Walks. We have also designed some woodland walks for those who wish to explore our wooded areas and enjoy the beauty and peace to be found in these lovely and secluded shady areas. Picnic areas are set in quiet woods as well as in areas with a glorious view. For the children there is a great playground right next to the main buildings so parents can relax and enjoy a meal and a drink whilst keeping an eye on their little ones at play. For the older, more adventurous children there are some play houses set in a wooded area. There is plenty of free parking in our large car park which can accommodate coaches and has reserved parking for the disabled, motor cycles and bicycles. The Llama Park is happy to tailor make parties, weddings, birthdays, workshops and any other event you may wish to hold in a unique and truly beautiful setting.
