Enjoy cult movies in a?luxurious?private cinema with either a bottomless prosecco brunch or delicious cocktails.
WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Cult movies on a Sunday afternoon, in a large private cinema. Really what?s not to love??The cinema is inside The Courthouse Hotel – the uber cool space that formerly housed the Old Street Magistrates Court and Police Station – The Krays visited, and Oscar Wilde, not to see the films obviously. There are different films every Sunday, the choice ranges from avant-garde to romance and action. The seats are leather and the walls are suede, the technology is bang on and you can have a cocktail in a cell that once held the Kray twins.?
TELL ME MORE
The Courthouse is a Grade 11 Baroque-style building, and as it is located in Shoreditch is really rather wonderful.
There are two?options?available
Option 1:?A Cinebrunch for two in the ?Judge and Jury? room. You will be seated surrounded by law journals and courtroom memorabilia, perusing a menu that is definitely not prison fare. Chargrilled chorizo and Octopus salad, swordfish ceviche are just the starters, before you toy with beetroot burger or a chicken schnitzel. Have we mentioned the bottomless Prosecco?
Option 2: included is a post-movie cocktail for two.?After the film nip on down to the Jailhouse Bar, formerly the holding cells and police station and think about crimes gone by as you sink a delicious cocktail, which is included in the experience price. We think Oscar would have loved it.?
THE FILMS
