Sully Sailing Club is a small friendly club dedicated to dinghy and cat sailors, located in Sully Bay, near Cardiff, South Wales. We have a small modern Clubhouse with disabled access, hot showers, and a club lounge but, alas, no bar.
We also have what we claim to be the longest slipway in the Bristol Channel, which allows us to sail at virtually any state of the tide. We welcome windsurfers and canoeists, but the only power-boats allowed in the club are our own patrol boats.
The club offers sailing covering a wide variety of performance and skill levels. If you don?t own a boat but are keen to sail we can help: we have a range of club boats (Lasers, Toppers and Topazs) which can be used by members for a small annual fee.
We race every Sunday through?the season, with handicap races for both the ?fast? and ?slow? fleets. In this way we are able to offer competitive racing to all regardless of the class of boat you sail. For the more adventurous, who venture further out beyond Sully Island, there is some of the best wave sailing in the UK.
