Spelthorne Museum is located in Staines Library and is divided into two rooms.
The Elmsleigh Room?covers the history of Spelthorne, from the Ice Age to modern times and includes a digital photo album and a changing ?monthly display showcasing a ?Window on Spelthorne?.
The Thames Room?has a replica Roman shop, a traditional Victorian kitchen layout, a 1738 parish fire engine, a collection of china Souvenirs of Spelthorne and the Museum Shop selling local history books, postcards and other history related items and is open when Volunteers are on duty.Open Monday-Saturday and run by local volunteers do check the website before you visit.
