RHS was originally a private garden that was owned and created by Lady Anne Palmer and her husband, Colonel Robert Horace Gillings in the 50’s. The gardens were then acquired by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) in 1988, who went on to expand the garden into what it is today.
RHS Rosemoor is home to over 2000 different species of roses and beautiful herbaceous borders, ornamental gardens as well as a large variety of other trees and shrubs.
RHS Rosemoor makes the most of each season showing off its natural beauty so it can be enjoyed all year round.

RHS Rosemoor is also a great place to visit with children and to keep them entertained. RHS Rosemoor has a dedicated play area called the Brash and has climbing frames, slides and other fun activities for the kids. They also offer other facilities and activities for children.
