The tour starts with a beer and ends with a pie and a pint.

The route weaves through the streets of Clerkenwell and Farringdon. Where could you find the last beer before a Newgate execution? Why are ghosts and spirits kept at bay in one particular (and very cosy) bar.? Discover the reason why some pubs are hidden away in certain parts of London.?
Without our traditional pints we probably wouldn?t have survived, as back in the day Londoner?s were drinking it in place of water, and don?t let?s get started on the joys of a pie. When an oyster was as cheap as a chip, the Victorians were stuffing them under crusts, with a drop of stout to improve the gravy. Yes, we understand a pie. The crust is just a vehicle for holding in deliciousness.

The tour heads off on a Tuesday evening at 6.30pm, and there will be a maximum of ten people in your group. The totter lasts for 2.5 hours, so think of your pie as supper, and a well deserved treat.
