THE PANCAKES
A pancake is not just for Shrove Tuesday it is for every day. These pancakes are simply puffs of delight. The flour is sourced from Shipton Mill, the bacon from Swaledale, and the maple syrup is most definitely ?A? grade. Flour and eggs battered into deliciousness. There are pancakes to delight every taste bud. Are you sweet or savoury? Vegan or Veggie? Going wheat free. No problem. Dairy free? Bring it on.? From morning to night there is a pancake with your name on it.? A tea delight could include a topping of strawberries and cream or they could be just be served as an aside adding cheer to a glass of Prosecco or a signature cocktail. Think about it. A Mississippi Mule with a smoked salmon blini – the afternoon just got even better. The space itself was pre-constructed and then shipped from Amsterdam, before landing in Arch 35a under the railway on the Southwark Bridge Road. The style is Scandi and small children and dogs are welcomed with high chairs for some, bowls of water for the others. For once the name really does reflect the menu.?? This is very simply ?Where the Pancakes Are? – but as pancakes go they are anything but simple. Oh and look out for the dutch babies?

Your day could start with breakfast at an infamous cafe, head off on a self-guided walk to discover the disappearing advertising from the past (an Instagrammers delight), a little known graveyard, wine sampling in Borough Market or end your day with a show.?
