Located in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, Osborne House was the holiday residence for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Prince Albert actually designed the property himself and had it built between 1845 and 1851 in an Italianate style and offering amazing views of the Solent. The amazing property gives visitors an insight into a taste of Royal Life in history.
Inside the property you will see rooms including The Durbar Room which was designed to showcase the gifts that Queen Victoria had received during her reign as the Empress of India!
King George V actually donated Osborne House to the British nation in 1921 as a memorial to his father, King Edward II.
