Clay Lodge Farm at Maxworthy in North Cornwall has full and established planning permission and insurance to operate as a shooting ground.
The ground operates DTL, ABT, UT, DRise and Sportrap layouts with additional practice trap facilities. All our trap disciplines are registered and conform to all CPSA regulations and settings.
We benefit from a SECTION 11 Exemption from Devon and Cornwall Constabulary allowing non-shotgun license holders to shoot under supervision.
The Clubhouse is heated and there are separate toilet facilities for ladies and gentlemen. Light catering is provided on Saturdays and tea/coffee is always available when the ground is open.
Disabled wheelchair access is provided in all shooting and rest areas, with disabled parking close to the clubhouse and primary range.
Practice trap facilities for novices can be set up at very short notice. Basic gun handling and safety information is ALWAYS provided to novice shooters.
Safety: A CPSA trained and qualified Safety Officer is present at all times.
