Home to a collection of decorative arts such as silverware, paintings, sculptures, furniture, tapestries, glassware and an amazing collection of over 17,000 pieces of porcelian, earthenware and stoneware, this is a great place to visit. The palace was originally planned to be a summer residence for King John V in the first half of the 18th century, but construction didnt end up starting until much later in 1755 and then sadly the first palace, which was made of wood actually burnt down in 1794.
