The National Marine Aquarium is a registered charity committed to promoting a sympathetic understanding of the sea through programmes of education, conservation and research. As the largest Aquarium in the UK it boasts more than 70 sharks, a giant pacific octopus, a loggerhead turtle and lots more opportunities to connect to the world’s oceans. Besides being a self funded attraction, the Aquarium also have an education arm ‘Just Add H2O’? which facilitates the key stage education of more than 30,000 5-18 year olds each year. The subject fields are far broader than you would imagine, with the programme challenging teachers to find a subject they can’t facilitate. The charity also offers a number of consulting opportunities utilising the high calibre skill set of its staff. This includes everything from aquaria management, to business leadership, social media and more. Please feel free to speak to our staff via Linkedin or email us at [email protected].
