Tickets for Mies van der Rohe Pavilion. One of our bestsellers. Originally commissioned by Germany, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich were the architects behind the building and its purpose was to represent Germany at the 1929 Barcelona Exposition. It was later dismantled as it wasn’t required anymore. However! It wasn’t forgotten as it was later (in 1986) converted to what it is today. It has been used over the years to influence generations of architects and artists and also, importantly, it helped to lay the foundations for modern atchitecture. The materials were chosen from various places including the Alps, Tivoli, Atlas & Tinos. A very calm building with amazing space.
