Mendip RC Raceway can be found on the outskirts of Weston-super-Mare in the South West of England in the UK. It was first opened for onroad RC racing in 1977, by none other than John Button, now more famous because of his son Jenson?s achievements in full scale Motorsport and F1, and to this day still aims to be one of the finest RC car racing facilities in the UK.
Since then the onroad track and surrounding facilities have been developed and the site not only boasts covered pits, camping areas, onsite cafe and clubhouse, but also a fully astroturfed offroad track that was completed in 2012.
Together the 2 tracks can cater for many classes of RC car racing, from large scale IC onroad, to 1/10th scale electric offroad, check our section pages to see full details of what we run and when.
The club is affiliated to the BRCA (british Radio Car Association), and every year we host a range of club race days, plus a large number of BRCA regional and national competitions, plus a few other notable one off events.
