The Drive-Thru Safari!
I used to love gong on drive-thru Safari’s with my parents. I was allowed to sit on their knee in the front seat and enjoy the animals! The Lion Country Drive-Thru Safari is a 4-mile drive through country safari with over 900 wild animals from all over the world! They’ve got large herd animals walking freely which means they can even be in the road as you pass them! You can see zebra’s, rhinos, and even giraffes as well as ostrich, wildebeest, impalas and even lions!
The Walk-thru part!
The park also has a cool walk-through section where you can get a bit closer to some of the animals and even feeding encounters with some of the different animals which lets be honest is fun for kids and parents alike!
The Water Park section!
Did we mention the park also has a fun water splash section to help you cool down on the warmer days! The area has waterslides (only open on weekends) and other water fun!
The park has seven areas to see with animals from the Serengeti, the Plains, the Gorongosa Reserve and the Hwange National Park.
The park has recreated the animals’ local habitats to ensure they are comfortable and enjoy their lives and take the conservation of animals very seriously.
