How about a trip up the world’s 7th tallest telecommunications tower and the tallest one in South Asia! The KL Tower allows you to enjoy the views of Kuala Lumpur from 276-meters up on the KL Tower Observation Deck.

You can also include access to the open-air Sky Deck on your ticket if you select that option and the Sky Deck is even higher at 300 meters!

The total height of the tower including the antenna is a staggering 421 meters, with the antenna added to help improve the quality of the broadcasts.

The tower also has a very cool rotating restaurant at the very top should you get a bit peckish (lunch is not included in the ticket price).

How to get to the KL Tower

The KL Tower was officially opened to the public in 1996 having been designed by architects Kumpulan Senireka Sdn Bhd. As the tower is so call the building is equipped with high-speed elevators which can get you to the top in just 54 seconds! The KL Tower holds some fun events during the year including the annual ‘Towerthon race’… a race where the participants run up the tower stairs to the top (you won’t catch me participating in that!). The KL Tower is lit up at night and changes colour, so its easily recognisable as one of the city’s major landmarks.
