Awesome Play
King Henry?s Walk APG has been part of the community for over 40 years offering continuous play in the community.
Over the years the playground has gone through many transformations always making sure its core offer of adventurous play for its users was integral to its day to day offer. King Henry?s Walk outside space consists of a large play area with structures which children use and adapt for their needs throughout each and every session. There is a zip wire, three swing?s and walkways alongside two tree houses one built by the children and an outside stage. It also has a pond area with newts and toads which the area around it is kept as natural as possible to enhance our user?s understanding of natural resources.
Ages
We currently cater for children and young people ages 6-13.
Family Play sessions
Every Saturday during school term time come along, there is no age restriction for playing as a family. Our great 2 hour family play session?11:30-13:30?is open to all Islington families which includes children of any age accompanied by an adult. Experience some of the adventurous opportunities children get to do independently in our free play service during our regular play service. These sessions are supported by qualified playworkers who will introduce you to new and wonderful play experiences. Be prepared to get messy and have fun! #FunComesFirst
