Sail through London’s canals in a hot tub. Yes, you did read that right.
WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
It?s all hubble, bubble forget your toil and troubles as you steam your way down the Regent?s Canal in a HotTug. We don?t go in for the completely daft, so although this may look like an odd way to spend an evening, it is in fact extraordinarily enjoyable. The HotTug is wood-fired, self drive and an experience that?s fun no matter if it?s a bit drisily on the outside, inside it?s toasty. The fresh water is heated to a lovely 38 degrees (changed every trip in case you were wondering), and you can pick it up from Angel in Islington, or Canary Wharf (leave work, and go straight off for a sip and a soak).
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
The Dutch invented the HotTug, well you?ve got to do something on all those canals…
The trip lasts for 90 minutes, and a ?captain? will run you through instruction and safety details, and then its anchors away. Feel free to bring your own drinks on board, but remember the driver can?t, so as with driving bring along a designated captain. We also suggest putting on your cossies before you arrive, as there isn?t much space for a quick change?. Towels are available to hire, as is ice for the drinks. This is so much better than meeting up at the pub. So come on soak all your cares away ??.
