Hackney Marsh Adventure Playground is a special place dedicated to children's play for 6 to 15 year olds inclusive. Our adventure playground has an open access policy - this means children are free to attend and can come and go as they choose. Our play space offers all children the freedom to grow, explore and create while taking measured risks along the way. Children can decide what they do and with whom. They are encouraged to can control of their own play both indoors and outside.
We offer a wide range of spontaneous play opportunities from wooden structures, tree houses, rope and tyre swings, a large sandpit and water feature, climbing beams and nets. Other significant features include access to nature, soft play toys, sensory room, moving and loose parts, digging and gardening, team games & sports, cooking, fire pit, imaginative play, arts and crafts, woodwork & hand tools and opportunities to build dens and camps.
