So who are the Friends of Grimsbury Farm?
The Friends of Grimsbury farm was formed in April 2006 when a group of local residents got together with South Gloucestershire Council to try to secure and improve this valuable community facility for the future.
We were very concerned that this old farm was being neglected and that its full potential was not being realised. We were lucky to find a contact on the council that felt exactly as we did and who has worked closely with us since the beginning. We also have the full support of a number of local councillors who have openly thanked us for our efforts to make improvements.
What do we do?
From running the caf? and holding various events through the year to helping with improments to the farm, campaigning for funding to simply promoting the farm, the work the Friends do is varied so there’s plenty to get involved with, no matter what skills you have or how much time you can spare.
