Where do you expect to find a tropical rainforest in the desert… in Dubai, of course!

Kept at a constant temperature of between 25-28 degrees Celsius, The Green Planet in Dubai is home to over 3000 species of plants and animals including birds, porcupines, sloths, snakes and spiders.

This is not only a great place to visit because its cool, its a great place to visit because its also educational in a fun way as you can see how a rainforest works at all levels, from the canopy to the midstory, the forest floor and the flooded areas and its fascinating.

Whilst you are walking around the different levels, don’t forget you may come across the wildlife! The enclosure is home to thousands of birds including toucans and parrots, butterflies and reptiles including tree boas, but do look out for the sloths!
