Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club is based on the mouth of the River Deben in Suffolk, England. This location offers sailing in sheltered and open waters at all times of the tide for sailors, windsurfers and kitesurfers. The club site has two dinghy parks, outboard/tender storage, parking and two launching sites. Our two storey club house has a large bar, professionally catered galley as well as a changing rooms with hot showers. The Training Centre is adjacent to the club house and offers sailing and powerboat training throughout the year.
Dinghy sailing takes place either up river or out to sea depending on conditions. Launching is possible at any state of the tide either infront of the club or on the public slipway accessed via the road. The Deben is perfect for exploring with many creeks and pubs along the way. The sandbank on the entrance to the river is a challenging obstacle for those heading out to sea.
