Located on the southern side of the entrance to Mahon harbour, you can explore the Fort and learn about it’s history through a number of galleries and why it was built. Named after Sir John Churchill, Duke of Marlborough, who was a forefather of Britains Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, Sir John Churchill was a prominent General in the British army.
