Do you like to eat on the move? This experience is more of a drift, and the food is definitely not fast. The London Shell Company serve the finest British Seafood while you journey down the Regent’s Canal, cruising past the London Zoo and through Regent’s Park. This is serious dining. Expect Thornback Ray Ragu, Beer Battered Oysters (from Dorset, of course), Cornish Hake with a charred Grelot (answers on a postcard please). Don’t go if you fancy a bit of beef. This is a fish restaurant, and you will be served a set menu, which changes every day, and as much care is taken over the wine list as the food menu. This is a very British experience. What other country would go in for fine dining on a barge? The tables are?candle-lit which?makes for a very jolly ambiance; you are sharing a boating adventure and it’s all rather romantic (especially when you drift through the Maida Hill Tunnel). Cruising dinners are Tuesday -?Friday between 6pm – 10pm. Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm departure.
