WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Using different wires in black, silver, gold and brass, your teacher Zack McLaughlin will show you how to twist the wire to make a life size wire wren. Each one ends up with a different stance and look, and each one is charming. This class is extremely popular, and you will get a pattern to take home, so you could create a whole flock.
MEET YOUR INDYTUTE TEACHER
Your teacher Zack is a fantasy artist and sculptor, with a love of birds. He creates his work using wood, paper and clay. His barn owl sits on a lamp bracket poised to fly, chaffinches collide into light bulbs and brilliant jays stalk his desktop. He also loves to deconstruct birds in his art, taking them down to their?frame, which is what you will be doing in this class.
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
This is an adult class, open to those over 16. All materials you need will be provided. Lessons take place at The Islington Town House once or twice a month on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening, to be confirmed at the time of booking. There are approximately 20 people in a class.
