The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seals pup from around the Cornish Coastline.
Each season, the Sanctuary rehabilitates over 70 seal pups that have been rescued for various reasons, from malnourishment to being separated from their mum.
The Sanctuary also provides a permanent home to animals that need special care from their team of marine animal experts. When visiting the Sanctuary, you can experience wonderful marine animals up close and personal and learn all about their individual stories.
NEW FOR 2019 – Discovery Cove Playground!
Mixing learning with play, children can enjoy a variety of activities which are both fun and educational. Scout the area from our lifeguard hut, then slide into action on a seal pup rescue or just kick back on a surfboard. Fun activities at the Conservation Village will teach all about our ocean environment, what seals eat, where they live and their amazing adaptations. For our young adventurers, there is our brand new exploration reef where children can clamber about, learning as they go. There is something for everyone with our new sensory interactives.
