Tickets for Computerspielemuseum (Tickets for Computer Game Museum)
What’s Included
- Entry to the Computer Game Museum
The Computerspielemuseum or Computer Game Museum, home of the very first computer game, Nimrod!
Take yourself back to the first machines, the slot machines and now think of the latest ones available. How times and technology have changed! This museum will show you just that when you visit!
One of your childhood favourites, Lara Croft will greet you at the entrance and then its on like Donkey Kong! You can play classics like Pong, PainStation and of course, everyone’s favourite Pacman!
Learn the history of the machines and how they went from arcade machines to Atari (remember that one)! You will love seeing some of the originals still in working order and the memories they will bring back with this exhibition of more than 300 games and computer-related items.
You will see just how far we’ve come from the coin-operated machines we used to have to go to arcades to use, to the first Tamagotchi, (remember those – that digital chicken from the 90s!) to Grand Theft Auto IV amongst others.
Find out about the people who introduced the games to our lives and homes and see how clunky things look on the Wall of Hardware, including Apple II, Commodore PET, Atari, and Vectrex. Oh, the memories!
Play the ‘Game & Watch’, an electronic LCD game by Nintendo from 1980. It wouldn’t be complete of course without the classics including Donkey Kong, Asteroids, and even Space Invaders! You can even try the famous PainStation and see how it punishes for making a bad Pong move! Ahh, the memories!
