This skatepark is situated on Clapham Common and was refurbished and then opened to the public in January 2012 by Freestyle. The majority of the park is all concrete but there is a small tarmac section with metal ramps too but have been well constructed and are both super smooth. This park has been well designed and has a lot of variation and interesting obstacles in all the right places for nice long flowing lines.
The park is split into two sections, one being a tarmac outer featuring ledges, flat rails, a curved ledge and and interesting double manny pad angled up towards the centre.
However the main concrete section is the real attraction here, it is very much an open plan area with a lot of space and freedom to skate multiple lines incorporating every obstacle. It features a vaiety of banks and quarter pipes with a 3 foot mini ramp and banked hip in one corner that flows into a plaza style street section. This consists of ledges, flat and angled rails, a 3 stair set and a euro gap, with and adjoing bowled corner with coping and adjacent to this is a long curved and angled ledge witha pole jam in the middle. These two sections then lead into a corner bank, a nice volcano and a driveway with an adjoining up and down ledge that finally leads into a quarter pipe at the end.
