Tickets for Chateau de Vincennes: Priority Entrance. One of our bestsellers. This is the tallest fortified tower in Europe, standing at 52-meters tall. It is also where Henry V died. Our ticket will also get you through the priority line entrance. Originally built as a hunting lodge, it was home to the French royal family until that little place down the road was created… the Palace of Versailles! The Chateau de Vincennes has a moat, six tours, three gates and it’s 52-meter keep to help stop unwanted intruders coming in! Home multiple important historical events, not only is it where Henry V died, but also the relics of the Crown of Thorns were stored in the chapel whilst they were waiting to be transferred to the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris and before they were moved on again to the Louvre. The chateaur was also used a a prison!
