Insider expeditions to London charity shop hot spots.
WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Charity shopping is like going on a blind date? without the cringe factor. There is love at first sight, hideous misfires (always try it on), and rampant butterflies when another shopper simultaneously dives for that record. Each area of London?has its specialty. Some neighbourhoods are a dead cert for pristine vintage and designer labels, others for collectible records and magazines, or fabrics and haberdashery and some areas are just great for grabbing real steals and bargains.
MEET YOUR LONDON GUIDE
Your guide, Sanna, knows where to look. She?s spent years hunting for props and wardrobe for television adverts and photoshoots.
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
The route will visit a fresh area of London each month so no borough gets fished clean. There may be a bus or short train journey from the start point, there will also be a snack break at one of the many cafes on the route (food and drink is not included).
The charity shop hop runs monthly, you can choose from East London, North London or Central London.
WHEN
The hops happen on the last weekend of every month.
East London Hops will be on Saturday mornings 10am-12noon
North London Hops will be on Sunday mornings 11am-1pm
Central London Hops will alternate between Saturdays and Sundays every other month, but always in the afternoon from 2-4pm
