Castle Comedy launched in April 2012 at the Gordon Arms Ent Shed. On the second Thursday of each month the club presents a different line up of comics to suit all tastes. The aim is to showcase the best in comedy talent, from faces you recognise from TV through great circuit pros, to up and coming acts. All in an environment that is friendly and great fun!
Previous acts include Josh Widdicombe, Katherine Ryan, Hal Cruttenden, Zoe Lyons, Isy Suttie, Mark Little, Marcel Lucont, Tony Law and James Acaster who has previewed each of his three Fosters Comedy Award nominated shows in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
The Ent Shed has a capacity of 130 and seating is a mix of Cabaret style tables and rows. All seating is allocated so you are assured of sitting in comfort with your friends.
