Having inherited the family business from his Father and Uncle, Antoni Amatller Costa was like the Willy Wonka of his time! He lived from 1851-1910 and once he had inherited the business, he travelled around Europe visiting chocolate factories and learning how he could improve. The property was designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch who was one of the most famous architects of his time, along with Gaudi. The property includes dragons, knights and other mythical creatures on it’s facade and you get to explore it! One of Barcelona’s most mind-boggling buildings!
