Don’t let that take away it’s beauty though. Offering incredible views of Barcelona, the house was designed and built between 1900 and 1909. Gaudi used a rectilinear approach, which was new to him from the point of view he hadn’t used it very often before. His inspiration for the project came from a medieval castle which had belonged to Martin I of Aragon, and as we now know, when Gaudi got inspired, amazing things usually followed!
