Amazona Zoo in Cromer, Norfolk, is one of the county?s most unique and fun days out where families can discover South American wildlife. The zoo is home to over 200 tropical animals including jaguars, monkeys, snakes, flamingos and tapirs.
It is committed to helping visitors discover nature and provide education on conservation issues.
Highlights include a Feline Forest with ocelot, pumas and jaguar; a tropical house with spectacled caiman, anaconda snake and iguanas, as well as, Chilean flamingos and South American wildfowl. In addition, discover Amazon parrots, macaws, squirrel monkeys, red-legged seriema and Geoffroy?s spider monkeys.
For the under 12?s there?s also a large, well-equipped, indoor soft play area, ?Jungle Tumbles?, with slides, ropes, bridges, tunnels and interactive toys, as well as comfortable seating for parents.
Outside there?s an expansive well-equipped play area, Rainforest Springs and there are two large jumping pillows for hours of Braziliant bouncing fun!
The zoo is owned by the Cabbell-Manners family.
