Tickets for Conciergerie. One of our bestsellers. A fascinating past. An amazing 14th century Gothic palace which was then turned into a prison! An interesting combination of old décor from it’s days as a palace, followed by the slightly darker décor from when it was a prison! When it was a prison, the most famous resident was of course, Marie Antoinette. Her prison cell was then converted into a Chapel after her execution and forms a very popular part of the tour. The building also boasts the biggest medieval hall still in existence in the Salle des Gens d’Armes which had space to seat the palace’s 2000 staff!
