Vegetarian Exploration. Private Tour. For 4

Discover delicious new cuisines and have an off the beaten path, culinary adventure with food writer, Naomi Knill.
WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?
Peckham. Who would have thought it? ?This neighbourhood is leading the way with a vegetarian Renaissance. The food scene in Peckham is blossoming. Pop-up?s, independent shops, restaurants and cafes have all done their bit to bring a renewed energy to this cultural and diverse part of London. On this walk you will be weaving in and out of local food institutions and new gems, tasting as you go.?Expect everything from fresh parathas to mouth watering homemade chocolate. This is a culinary journey to awaken the jaded palate. You will learn about the ingredients and look at fresh produce to see how it can be prepared.
MEET YOUR?GUIDE
Your guide is Naomi Knill a food writer, recipe developer and prominent UK?food blogger. Her blog ?The Ginger Gourmand?, is a good introduction to her style. This woman likes nothing better than spending weekends in the kitchen trying out recipe after recipe. Expect expertise and enthusiasm in kilos from this foodie who can do things to blood oranges that would have you on the ropes and gasping. Vegetarians expect to die and go to heaven (in Peckham).
THE ALL IMPORTANT DETAILS
This is a private walking tour for four people.? The experience lasts three hours and you’ll get a selection of delicious tasters (think Iranian mezzes?to Caribbean ice-cream and bitter sweet hot chocolate made to order) throughout the trip. Expect to be led through small local cafes, restaurants and independent businesses, learning about and meeting the chefs, producers and business owners. True behind-the-scene champions of London?s culinary progress.
Ideal for small groups or families (Naomi is passionate about inspiring a child’s inner foodie) that want to discover the real up and coming London.?To go as a larger group please contact us.
