The Reserve is located off Rodley Town Street appox 5 miles west of Leeds City Centre and is accessed by crossing the swing bridge over the Leeds and Liverpool?Canal and then following the access road to cross the bridge over the River Aire.
DOGS: Please note that unfortunately, because of the wildlife, we are only able to allow registered assistance dogs onto the Reserve.
The Reserve is well signed from the A6120 Leeds Outer Ring Road and then from the A657 Rodley Town Street. (Brown direction signs).
Car Parking is available on site just after crossing the bridge over the River Aire. Blue badge parking is available adjacent to the Visitor Centre.
Please note – The Reserve does not have a specific post code but LS13 1HP will take you to Rodley Town Street.
The Visitor Centre is open every Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and most Bank Holidays and provides a warm welcome for all our visitors.
Disabled parking and toilet facilities are located adjacent to the Centre.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks and other light refreshments are available together with cold drinks and ice creams during summer months.
Also available at the Centre are children’s pocket money toys, bird feeders, bird food, nest boxes, wood sculptures (made from our coppiced willow), RNR clothing and local honey.
POND DIPPING (April to October)
Enjoy discovering pond life by ?dipping? in our purpose built ponds. Nets, trays and identification sheets are available at the Visitor Centre. Use of own nets is not allowed.

Please note that because of the popularity of this activity PRE BOOKING IS REQUIRED FOR GROUP VISITS (eg child minding and nursery groups) which are limited to one group in the morning and one group in the afternoon for a maximum of one hour with four nets per group.
