Since first opening May 1997 we’ve had 21 Years of fish filled fun! With Daily Fish Feeding & Talks we provide great chances to see our fish getting fed whilst learning new & interesting facts from one of our Aquarists. Plus a chance to ask any questions you may have. Your ticket will be valid all day for the date purchased so you can come & go as you please. With over 75 displays & constantly looking for ways to expand and introduce new features to the Aquarium and our surrounding attractions. It’s always a great time to visit the Aquarium.
Our caf? is part of the aquarium building but like the gift shop, mini golf and boat pool is accessible to the general public, not just ticket holders. The location is amazing, with views overlooking the harbour and out across the Solway to Scotland on clear days. If the weather allows there are picnic tables and a patio, allowing us to seat 60+ customers at any one time so we can cope with coaches on all but the busiest days. There is a great cup of coffee too, we have lots of regulars dropping in for a cappuchino and fresh scone! We are a non smoking facility, accessible to wheelchairs, and there are high chairs for infants.
