It took 13 years to complete and the precision shows in the fine details. Throughout the house, hand-stitched?woolwork?and embroideries by Lady Augusta?FitzClarence, daughter of William IV and actress Dorothy Jordan are equally impressive.

Guided tours of the house run every 45 minutes and last around 1 hour 15 minutes. On the last Sunday of the month April to September, we open the house to ?freeflow?, where you can see round the house at your leisure.
