Palace Theatre

The Palace Theatre is a theatre in Redditch, England, in a Grade II listed building, one of the six working theatres designed by Bertie Crewe.

It opened in 1913. It is an example of Edwardian theatre and has received a major refurbishment restoring the theatre to its original state. Funds and grants were provided by Redditch Borough Council (?3M), and ?920,500 as part of a ?4 million scheme from The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).[1]

The Palace building has been used as a variety hall, a cinema, a roller-skating rink, and a bingo hall. Since 1971 it has been used exclusively as a theatre.[2]

Here at the Palace Theatre we pride ourselves in bringing you the very best in live entertainment whether you are a drama fanatic, music lover or you just like great value family entertainment. We are sure that you?ll find something to suit your taste. We hope you enjoy the new programme of events and thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming you to our little theatre packed with big entertainment!
