He wanted to create an experience that was free of barriers and instead have an immersive feeling, which we think he has achieved. The museum shows over 3500 pieces, along with temporary exhibitions which are regularly changed keeping it fresh and meaning there is usually something new to admire. The contents include many different interests from masks to musical instruments to weapons and ceremonial artifacts. With paintings, tapestries and other items all on display and all from various countries around the world so the various cultures can be seen. This is a different way to experiece different types of art and we love it! As the museum lies in the shadows of the Eiffel Tower, we also think that’s an extra bonus as you are greeted with the beauty of the tower as you exit the musuem reminding you exactly where you are in the world!
