An amazing Baroque palace-gallery, a work of art in its self, which happens to contain many more works of art and one of the worlds largest and most beautiful private art collections.
Colonna Gallery is home to artists including: Carracci; Bronzino; Guercino and many more. The museum building also features amazing frescoes and stunning apartments which you are allowed access too.
The palace has been home to over 20 generations of the Colonna family, the owners of this private art collection and a museum that should not be missed. With its ‘Hall of Landscapes’ which features rural compositions of Gaspard Dughet as well as incredible marble columns and the ‘Hall of Apotheosis’ of Martin V with its incredible ceiling canvas by artist Benedetto Luti.
